The Cyprus Department of Meteorology issued yesterday a yellow thunderstorm warning valid from 1000 am local time until 1800.
According to the Department, isolated thunderstorms are expected to affect mainly the western, the southern, the mountains and the inland areas while hail is also likely to fall.
Precipitation rate is expected to range between 35 and 55 millimeters per hours.
