We need to promote reforms for our sake, Undersecretary says

Cyprus Undersecretary to the President Constantinos Petrides called on Monday for the promotion of the reform agenda, admitting however that reforms are difficult when the government does not have parliamentary majority.

His comments came as Cyprus lenders began on Monday the first of a series of bi-annual post programme surveillance missions. Cyprus concluded its 3-year economic adjustment programme last March leaving one review pending as it didnt approve a bill for the transformation of the Cyprus Telecommunications Authority into a private company.
