Voting in Cyprus’ presidential elections running smoothly in Greece

Voting in Greece for Cyprus’ run-off presidential elections is running smoothly.

A total of 15 polling stations in nine Greek cities opened at 0700 local time and will close at 1800, with a one-hour break from 1200 to 1300.

Polling stations have been set up in Athens, Thessaloniki, Patra, Ioannina, Larissa, Komotini, Heraklion, Rethymno, and Volos.

In the first round, out of 5,930 registered voters in Greece, 4,355 or 72.48% voted.

Meanwhile, due to a rally in Athens for Macedonia, scheduled to begin at 1400 local time in Syntagma Square, special measures have been taken which will affect traffic.
