Seasonally-adjusted unemployment rate in Cyprus was 12.9% in February 2017, down from 13.1% in January 2017 and from 13.4% in February 2016. This means that 56 000 individuals were unemployed, of whom 11.7% male and 14.2% female. Furthermore, industrial producer prices increased in Cyprus by 0.3% in February 2017 in monthly basis and by 1.6% in annual basis, according to Eurostat. Also, tourism revenue recorded a significant annual increase this January of 21.6% compared to January 2016, data released by the Cyprus Statistical Service show.
