A Trilateral Meeting of Cyprus, Greece and Egypt on diaspora issues takes place on Thursday in Cairo.

The meeting will be attended by Cyprus Presidential Commissioner Photis Photiou, Greek Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs responsible for Greeks abroad Terens Quick and Minister of Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs Nabila Makram, who will discuss, inter alia, about the third phase of the Nostos � The Return programme implemented in the framework of the trilateral cooperation among Cyprus, Greece and Egypt on diaspora issues. Photiou has told CNA that “Nostos 3″will take place in Australia at the end of March, with the participation of the three countries’ diasporas.

Photiou and Quick met on Wednesday in Nicosia ahead of the trilateral meeting in Cairo. They both stressed the importance of establishing trilateral cooperation mechanisms on the diaspora.
