Tourist arrivals unchanged in February amid COVID-19 fears

Tourist arrivals in February 2020 amounted to 105,592 marking zero change compared to February 2019 amid the fears caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

Tourist from the UK, Cyprus largest tourist market declined by 8.7% in February 2020, tourists from Greece fell by 16.5% while tourist arrivals from Russia declined by 13.7% year on year.

The decline was offset by the rise in arrivals from Israel with 24,8%, while tourist flow from Ukraine spiked by 85,3%.
