Total sales of industrial commodities of local production in Cyprus reached €3,514.4 million in 2019 compared with €3,242.9 million in 2018, recording an increase of 8.4%, the Statistical Service said Thursday.
The three highest – selling products in terms of value were pharmaceutical products with €284.4 million, fresh bakery and confectionery products with €259.0 million and halloumi cheese with €245.0 million.
The sales of some products from local industrial units in 2019 were as follows: 36.8 thousand tonnes of halloumi cheese worth of €245.0 million, 64.6 million litres of pasteurised milk and fresh cream worth €78.2 million, 64.3 thousand tonnes of fresh fruit juice worth €40.4 million, prepared meat products worth €43.1 million, fresh bakery and pastry products worth €259.0 million, 40.4 million litres of beer worth €47.2 million, wines worth €30.3 mi
