Total sales and stocks of petroleum products decline in October

The total sales of petroleum products in October 2017 recorded a fall of 2.9% compared to the previous month, the Statistical Service of Cyprus reported on Monday.

Cystat said that the provisions of gasoil for marine use and aviation kerosene, as well as sales of heavy fuel oil, motor gasoline and gasoil low sulphur declined.

On the contrary, sales of kerosene, gasoil, liquefied petroleum gases, light fuel oil and asphalt rose.

The total stocks of petroleum products at the end of the month recorded a decrease of 11.7% compared to the previous month, according to Cystat.

During the period January � October 2017, the total sales of petroleum products recorded an increase of 3.0% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, it said.
