The purpose of the official visit to Cyprus is the overall coordination regarding national issues, Greek FM says in CNA

Greek Foreign Minister Giorgos Katrougalos arrives in Cyprus on Monday, March 18, for his first official visit as Foreign Minister.

The purpose of my first official visit to Cyprus is the mutual briefing and the overall coordination of our actions regarding the national issues, with special emphasis placed on the Cyprus Issue, says Minister Katrougalos, speaking to CNA.

Regarding the developments in the energy field, Greek diplomatic sources that spoke to CNA underline that the Republic of Cyprus’ positions express the legitimate rights of Cyprus. They also note that during the forthcoming Cyprus-Greece-Israel Trilateral Summit, which will be held in Jerusalem, with the presence of the US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, a serious effort will be made to sign the agreement for the construction of the East Med pipeline. Alternatively, the agreement will be signed during the next Trilateral Summit in Crete, where Italy will also participate, and therefore we will be able to examine the concerns that they express, Greek diplomatic sources say.

During his stay in Cyprus Minister Katrougalos will have official meetings with the President of the Republic of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiadis, the Foreign Minister Nicos Christodoulides, the President of the House of Representatives Demetris Syllouris, and the Archbishop of Cyprus Chrysostomos II.
