The President of the Republic, Mr Nicos Anastasiades, leaves tomorrow morning, 8 January 2017, for Geneva where he will attend talks on the Cyprus problem with the leader of the Turkish Cypriot community between 9 and 11 January. He will subsequently attend the Conference on Cyprus which begins on 12 January.
The President will be accompanied in Geneva by the Greek Cypriot interlocutor, Mr Andreas Mavroyiannis, and the members of the negotiating team Mrs Erato Kozakou Marcoullis, Mr Kypros Chrysostomides, Mr Polyvios Polyviou, Mr Panayiotis Demetriou, Mr Nicos Cleanthous, Mr Toumazos Tsielepis, Mr Marios Eliades, and a team of experts. He will also be accompanied by members of the National Council.
Also participating in the Cypriot delegation are the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Ioannis Kasoulides, the Government Spokesman, Mr Nikos Christodoulides, the Deputy Minister to the President, Mr Constantinos Petrides, the Deputy Government Spokesman, Mr Victoras Papadopoulos, and other officials.S
