The President of the Republic begins today the second round of talks on the issue of Territory with Mustafa Akinci

The President of the Republic, Mr Nicos Anastasiades, who arrived in Mont Pelerin, Switzerland on 19 November, begins today the negotiations on the issue of Territory with the Turkish Cypriot leader, Mr Mustafa Akinci.

The talks, which begin today, 20 November, and will conclude tomorrow, constitute the second round of consultations on the issue of Territory among the two leaders and their negotiating teams; the first one having taken place also in Mont Pelerin on 7-11 November.

The President of the Republic is accompanied in Mont Pelerin by the Greek Cypriot interlocutor, Mr Andreas Mavroyiannis, and the members of negotiating support team, the Government Spokesman, Mr Nikos Christodoulides, and the deputy Government Spokesman, Mr Victoras Papadopoulos.
