The Foreign Ministers of Cyprus and the UK met in Brussels

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Ioannis Kasoulides, met today, in Brussels, with his British counterpart, Mr Boris Johnson, at the request of the British Minister.

Minister Kasoulides briefed his counterpart on the progress in the talks on the Cyprus problem and the latest developments in the negotiations that took place in Switzerland and will continue next week.

Cyprus Foreign Minister referred extensively to the issues related to the chapter of security, and asked for Britain’s support on the issue of guarantees and the full withdrawal of the Turkish troops from Cyprus.
