The EIB since 2011 has invested Euros 1.3 billion in Cyprus

The European Investment Bank since 2011 has invested in Cyprus Euros 1.3 billion or around Euros 260 million per year, said on Monday its Vice President Jonathan Taylor.

He was speaking at the signing ceremony at the Ministry of Finance of two agreements to loan Euros 40 million for a new water pipeline to pump drinking water from the Vassilikos desalination plant to the greater western Nicosia region and a Euros 15 million loan for the construction of two anti-flooding rain water stations in Larnaca.
