The Council of Ministers approved the Ministry of Health’s proposal for updated booster COVID-19 shots.

 

It a press release, the Ministry of Health said the Cabinet approved the booster/3rd dose for persons 12 and over, provided that five months have elapsed since the second dose. The validity of the European Digital Certificate (SafePass) will not be affected in case of not receiving the booster/ 3rd dose.

 

The Cabinet also approved the second updated shot as part of the 4th booster dose for persons over the age of 30, those who live or work in nursing homes or closed structures, irrespective of age, health professionals, pregnant women and persons over the age of 12 with diabetes, obesity with a BMI ≥40 or ≥35 and metabolic syndrome, serious chronic heart and artery disease, chronic kidney, liver or neuropathic disease, hemoglobinopathies, persons with immunodeficiency and immunocompromised patients.

 

Again it underlines that the validity of the European Digital Certificate (SafePass) will not be affected in case of not receiving the booster/ 4rd dose.
