The Chair of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Ioannis Kasoulides, will address on Monday, 23 January 2017, in Strasbourg, the plenary meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE). Minister Kasoulides will brief the members of the Assembly on the priorities of the Cyprus Chairmanship of the Committee of Ministers of the Council, as well as on the developments since the previous meeting of PACE in October 2016. On the sidelines of the session, Mr Kasoulides will have meetings with the Secretary General of the Organization, Mr ThorbjA�rn Jagland, and the President of PACE, Mr Pedro Agramunt. On 24 January 2017, the President of the Republic, Mr Nicos Anastasiades, will address the Assembly.
Then, Minister Kasoulides will depart for Vienna, where on Thursday, 26 January 2017, will present the priorities of the Cyprus Chairmanship to the Permanent Council of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), at an invitation of the Austrian Presidency of the OSCE.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs returns to Cyprus on Friday, 27 January 2017.
