Talks on security and guarantees continue on Tuesday morning, following Mondays discussions

Mondays discussions on the thorny issue of security and guarantees concluded after a session lasting one and a half hours, during which Cyprus three guarantor powers (Greece, Turkey and the UK) and the leaders of the islands two communities, President Nicos Anastasiades and Turkish Cypriot leader Mustafa Akinci were present. The Greek Cypriot side has submitted three documents at the UN-facilitated peace talks. Cyprus Government Spokesman Nikos Christodoulides has called on Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu to make public his proposal on the issue of security and guarantees in Cyprus. Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias criticised those who are in a hurry to create impressions at the talks in Crans Montana.
