Syllouris – Vucic discuss Cyprus issue, Kosovo as well as fires in Greece

The deadly wildfires raging in Greece was the first issue discussed at a meeting held in Belgrade between Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and President of the House of Representatives Demetris Syllouris, who is on an official visit to the country.

According to a press release issued by the House of Representatives, during the meeting they also discussed recent developments in the Cyprus problem, the issue of Kosovo, as well as ways to further strengthen bilateral relations in a practical manner.

The President of Serbia said that his country is ready to send human resources to Greece, if needed, as well as financial support to those affected by the fires.

Syllouris contacted the President of the Hellenic Parliament Nikos Voutsis and conveyed the message of the President of Serbia. He also expressed his sorrow for the tragedy that hit Greece.
