Rainbow flag flies in front of Permanent Representation of Cyprus in Brussels for anti-homophobia, biphobia and transphobia day

The rainbow flag flew in front of the Permanent Representation of Cyprus to the European Union in Brussels on Tuesday, on the occasion of the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT).

The Permanent Representation shared a video of the entrance of its building in Brussels, along with the message that “everyone, everywhere should be free to express who they are and love who they love without fear of violence or discrimination”.

Permanent Representative of Cyprus to the EU, Christina Rafti, was one of the 63 ambassadors in Brussels that signed a joint statement of the “Diplomats for Equality – Brussels” group, in which they reaffirm their commitment to defend and advance LGBTI+ rights.
