In the coming weeks, we should expect the issue of the appointment of a UN envoy to make progress, said Government Spokesman Marios Pelekanos.
Answering questions in Paphos on Thursday after the parade to mark the anniversary of the “Ohi Day” he said that consultations continue and we should expect that in the next weeks, the Secretary-General will proceed with the appointment of an envoy”.
He also said that these consultations are taking place at all levels and at UN level.
