President to participate in videoconference with EUCO president and heads of EU states

President Nicos Anastasiades will take part in a videoconference with EUCO president Charles Michel and EU heads of states on Monday, a written statement by the head of his press office Andreas Iosif says.

The videoconference takes place ahead of the EUCO summit 30-31May which will discuss the Ukraine crisis, energy issues and EU’s response with RePowerEU, European defense and security and food crisis.

According to the press release, Anastasiades will have a full program next week with meetings and consultations.

On Wednesday he will address OEB’s general assembly and will focus on the economy while on Thursday he will preside over a meeting on health. President Anastasiades and government officials are set to assess all reforms that have taken place in the health sector.

Later the same day the President will receive Margareta Cederfelt, President of the OSCE Parliamentary assembly.

On Friday a Cabinet meeting has been scheduled to decide on measures to tackle inflation.
