President of Oman’s Lower House to visit Cyprus officially

The President of the Consultative Assembly (Lower House) of the Sultanate of Oman, Skeikh Khalid Bin Hilal Al Maawali, will pay Cyprus an official visit at the invitation of the Cypriot House of Representatives, Demetris Syllouris.

According to a press release issued by the House of Representatives, the Oman official, heading a parliamentary delegation, will arrive in Cyprus on Sunday.

During their stay, they will be be received by President of the Republic Nicos Anastasiades and the President of the Cypriot House of Representatives.

The delegation will hold separate meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs Ioannis Kasoulides, Minister of Energy, Commerce, Industry and Tourism Yiorgos Lakkotrypis, former House President Yiannakis Omirou, Mayor of Famagusta and former House President Alexis Galanos, Mayor of Limassol Nikos Nikolaides, Mayor of Germasogeia Kyriakos Xidias, Deputy Mayor of Nicosia Kostas Mavrides, Rector of the University of Cyprus Konstantinos Christofides, as well as the President and members of the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The delegation comprises MPs Zayid Khalfan Al Abry, Hamdan Ali Al Manai, Hamdan Nasser Al Rumaidhi, Shamas Khalid Al Risi, Abdullah Ahmed Abdullah Al Malik and Amur Said Al Musharrafi.
