President holds bilateral meetings with Juncker, Tusk and Tsipras

The President of the Republic of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiades held on Thursday bilateral coordination meetings with the European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker, the European Council President Donald Tusk and the Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, on the sidelines of the EU-27 informal summit in Sibiu, Romania, according to Government Spokesman, Prodromos Prodromou.

As the spokesman said, the President of the Republic is currently taking part in the European Peoples Party (EPP) summit at the Astra Museum in view of the informal Council, where he is expected to also have contacts with his EPP counterparts. Then, as planned, he will make an intervention during the European summit, informing about Turkeys illegal actions in the EEZ of the Republic and calling for the support of Cyprus EU partners.
