President arrives in Amman for Trilateral Summit among Cyprus, Greece and Jordan

Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades arrived this morning in Amman, Jordan, to attend the second Trilateral Summit among Cyprus, Greece and Jordan.

Anastasiades was welcomed at the airport by the Foreign Minister of Jordan Ayman Safadi. Anastasiades is accompanied to Jordan by Foreign Minister, Nicos Christodoulides, Deputy Minister of Tourism Savvas Perdios and Government Spokesman Prodromos Prodromou.

Christodoulides attended after their arrival a trilateral meeting that took place in the Royal Palace with his counterparts of Greece, George Katrougalos, and Jordan Ayman Safadi. This was followed by a quadrilateral meeting among the Foreign Ministers of Cyprus, Greece, Jordan and Iraq, Mohamed Ali Alhakim, to discuss issues concerning the four countries’ financial, commercial and tourism cooperation.

Moreover, Deputy Minister of Tourism Savvas Perdios attends today in Amman the first Jordan � Greece � Cyprus Business Forum attended by businesspeople from the three countries. The Forum is organized by the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry, in cooperation with the Jordan Chamber of Commerce.
