President arrived in The Hague for one-day working visit

The President of Cyprus Nikos Christodoulides is in The Hague for a one-day working visit since Wednesday afternoon.

According to a statement issued by the Presidency, later in the day President Christodoulides will be received by King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands at the Royal Palace and will sign the visitors’ book.

It is added that he will then meet with Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte at the official Prime Minister’s residence, followed by a working dinner between the President and the Prime Minister of the Netherlands.

President Christodoulides will be accompanied to The Hague by Government Spokesperson Konstantinos Letymbiotis, Deputy Minister for European Affairs Marilena Raouna, Deputy Director of the President’s Diplomatic Office Doros Venezis and other officials.

The President of the Republic will return to Cyprus tomorrow, Thursday, the statement concludes.
