President Anastasiades informs the National Council and the people about Crans-Montana talks

Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades will inform on Monday at 1000 local time the members of the National Council about the talks on the Cyprus problem that took place in Crans-Montana, Switzerland, on June 28-July 7.

Government Spokesman Nikos Christodoulides said on his twitter account on Saturday that subsequently the President will also inform the Cypriot people over what happened in Crans-Montana.

Meanwhile the Greek National Council on Foreign Policy will convene in Athens, at 1700 today, under Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias, to discuss developments on the Cyprus problem.

The UN-backed talks in Switzerland ended inconclusively. Peace talks aim to reunite Cyprus, divided since the 1974 Turkish invasion, under a federal roof.
