The Cyprus Radio Television Authority on Tuesday reminded radio and television organisations that the transmission of political advertising must end by midnight on Thursday, February 9, 2023.
In a press release, it also emphasized that the broadcast of the results of any polls relating to elections seven days before any election is prohibited.
The Authority expects that organizations will take the necessary measures to comply with the provisions of the legislation, noting that failure to comply with the content of the circular entails possible measures and sanctions in accordance with the provisions of the legislation.
