Police presence on roads to be heavy to avert problems from bank holiday weekend return

Police presence will be heavy on the road network on Monday as holidaymakers are returning home after the three-day respite due to the Pentecost holiday.

Increased traffic is expected in the afternoon at the main junctions of the island’s road network.

In a press release, Police said its force will be out on the roads to ensure the safe and hassle free return of everyone to their homes with increased staff on the main roads from coastal to mountain areas.
