Cyprus police reported 26 individuals and 15 establishment managers during the last 24 hours for breaching measures aiming to contain the spread of COVID-19.
A police spokesperson told the Cyprus News Agency (CNA) that a total of 2,916 checks were conducted island-wide.
In Nicosia the police carried out 1,111 checks and fined 5 individuals and 9 establishment managers, while in Limassol they conducted 223 checks and handed out fines to 6 citizens and 4 establishment managers.
