No Cypriots among the victims in Kabul, according to initial information, Foreign Ministry representative tells CNA

There are no indications that Cypriot nationals are among the victims of Saturday’s attack against a hotel in Kabul, a representative of the Crisis Management Centre at the Foreign Ministry told CNA today.

He added that at this stage the Foreign Ministry of the Republic of Cyprus has received no report, nor is there any indication that Cypriots were present at the scene of the attack.

The Ministry, he noted, continues to monitor the situation.

According to the latest news reports, at least six people died during the attack at the Intercontinental hotel, in the Afghan capital, including a foreign national. There was no immediate claim of responsibility.
