No Cypriot citizens among victims of earthquakes in Italy, Foreign Ministry says

There are no Cypriot citizens among the victims of the earthquakes in Italy, the Foreign Ministry of Cyprus has said, noting that there are also no Cypriots who face any serious problems following the powerful earthquakes that hit central Italy on the night of the 26th of October and during the early hours on October 27.

The ministry said that it looked into the issue via the Republics Embassy in Rome and in cooperation with the Italian authorities, adding that there are now Cypriot citizens who are victims or who are facing any serious problems due to the earthquakes.

It also announced the address, the operating hours and contact numbers of the Cypriot Embassy in Rome so that Cypriot citizens who may require any consular assistance can contact the Embassy.
