New Electronic Publication: Intra-Extra EU Trade Statistics (summarised data), Nov 2018

The Statistical Service of Cyprus announces that it has published the new monthly electronic publication Intra-Extra EU Trade Statistics (Summarised Data) for November 2018.

The main developments in Cyprus foreign trade were:

(a) Total imports (covering total imports from third countries and from EU Member States) in January-November 2018 amounted to Euros 8.274,2 mn as compared to Euros 7.491,0 mn in January-November 2017. Total exports (covering total exports to third countries and to EU Member States) in January-November 2018 were Euros 4.081,8 mn compared to Euros 2.735,5 mn in January-November 2017. The trade deficit was Euros 4.192,4 mn in January-November 2018 compared to Euros 4.755,5 mn in the corresponding period of 2017.

(b) During November 2018 total imports (covering total imports from third countries and from EU Member States) valued at Euros 959,6 mn as compared to Euros 1.036,0 mn in November 2017.

(c) Total exports (covering total exports to third countries and to EU Member States), including stores and provisions, in November 2018 amounted to Euros 206,1 mn as compared to Euros 228,9 mn in November 2017. Exports of domestically produced goods, including stores and provisions in November 2018 were Euros 84,2 mn as compared to Euros 129,8 mn in November 2017 whilst exports of foreign goods, including stores and provisions, in November 2018 were Euros 121,9 mn as compared to Euros 99,1 mn in November 2017. Total domestic exports of industrial products in November 2018 were Euros 76,3 mn compared to Euros 121,5 mn in November 2017. Total domestic exports of agricultural products in November 2018 were Euros 5,9 mn compared to Euros 5,2 mn in November 2017.
