MP Panikos Leonidou takes parts in a IAO’s mission to Bosnia and Belgium

Member of the House of Representatives of Cyprus Panikos Leonidou, head of the Cypriot delegation to the Interparliamentary Assembly on Orthodoxy (IAO) and Member of the Assembly's International Secretariat, will participate in an Assembly’s mission to Bosnia-Herzegovina and Belgium. According to a press release, in Sarajevo, the delegation will hold meetings with political, state and religious officials. On Monday, February 12, members of the delegation will participate in a conference hosted by the Parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the role of parliamentary and religious leaders in building peaceful coexistence in the world. In Brussels, the delegation will attend an event for the presentation of the IAO's dedicated volume entitled "Hagia Sophia: The churches of the Wisdom of God around the world " and a photo exhibition of the same theme at the Ambiorix Orthodox Center on Wednesday, February 14, 2024. The event is co-organized by the IAO, the Holy Metropolis of Belgium and the Network of Greeks in Brussels "Argo". Leonidou will be the key note speaker. Source: Cyprus News Agency
