Most Covid-19 hospitalisations last week concerned unvaccinated people, Health Ministry says

The majority of hospital admissions for Covid-19 last week concerned people who were not vaccinated, according to data released by the Health Ministry on Tuesday.

According to the data on last week’s hospitalisations, 78% of patients were not vaccinated, 2% were fully vaccinated (two doses or one dose for JJ), 12% were fully vaccinated but five months and two weeks had passed from the date of receiving the second dose or their first dose in the case of the JJ vaccine, while 1% was partially vaccinated.

The Ministry also said that 1% of patients admitted to hospital last week due to Covid-19 got ill less than 14 days since the date they were administered the third dose.
