The Minister of Transport, Communications and Works, Yiannis Karousos, will participate in the Transport, Telecommunications and Energy Council to be held on 3 June 2021.
In the framework of the Council to be held in Luxembourg, the Ministers of Transport will discuss, inter alia, the Regulation on the Single European Sky 2+, the Directive on the use of rental vehicles, the Conclusions on the role of rail transport in the promotion of smart and Sustainable Transport as well as the Conclusions on the European Commission Strategy for Sustainable and Smart Transport.
The Council will also present the Declaration on Air Connectivity, an issue that was raised on the initiative of the Cypriot Minister of Transport.
