Minister of Foreign Affairs travels to Dubai for a Forum, then Brussels to attend Foreign Affairs Council

Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Christodoulides heads tonight from Paris, where he was accompanying President Anastasiades at the Conference on Libya, to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, where he is due to participate at the 12th Sir Bani Yas Forum, upon invitation from his Emirati counterpart, Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, said a press release issued by the Ministry on Friday.

It said the Forum, organized annually by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates to discuss issues pertaining to security and stability in the broader Middle East and Gulf region, has established itself as an important platform for exchange of views and dialogue.

Serving and former Prime Ministers, Foreign Ministers and other state officials from around the globe, as well as leading experts and analysts on international relations and foreign affairs, are amongst those invited to attend, the press release added.

On Saturday, Christodoulides will visit Expo 2020, which opened its gates to the public on 20th October, where he will have the opportunity to also visit the Cyprus pavilion.

Minister Christodoulides will then head to Brussels on Sunday evening (14/11), where on Monday he is due to participate in the Foreign Affairs Council of the European Union.
