MEP Mavrides brings the Kurdish uprooting and human rights violations by Turkey to the European Parliament

The problem of the uprooting and human rights of the Turkish Kurds, was brought today to the European Parliament, by group of Socialists and Democrats MEP Kostas Mavrides.

In a crowded auditorium and in an event that lasted around two hours, both he, and his guest speakers analyzed to the audience what is the situation experienced by the Kurdish population in the Southeast of the country, where 355,000 people have been displaced, 500,000 deprived houses , dwelling in relatives and friends houses, and where an entire village in Shinak has been demolished with bulldozers.
