Sohar SWRO Company LLC has chosen LG Chem’s NanoH2O seawater RO membranes for its 250 MLD plant in Oman
SEOUL, South Korea, June 13, 2016 /PRNewswire/ — LG Water Solutions, part of LG Chem and manufacturer of the full line of high-efficiency NanoH2O ™ reverse osmosis (RO) membranes, is proud to announce that it has been chosen by Sohar SWRO Company LLC to supply its high rejection NanoH2O seawater RO membranes to the Sohar desalination plant in Oman.
The Sohar desalination plant will produce 250 million liters of water per day and serve approximately 800,000 local Oman residents. The plant was designed by Valoriza Agua, one of the leading water technology companies in Spain which boasts a portfolio of more than 100 water treatment plants throughout Spain, Portugal, Algeria, Tunisia, Middle East, Brazil, Australia and Chile.
