Lebanese Defence Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Zeina Akar paid Friday an official visit to Cyprus.
Akar held meetings at the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, while she was also received by the President of the Republic and had a meeting with the President of the House of Representatives. According to a press release by the Ministry of Defence, the Ministers of Cyprus and Lebanon, Charalambos Petrides and Zeina Akar held discussions on the relations between the two countries in the field of Defence and Security as well as the current developments in Cyprus and Lebanon.
