Israeli institutions interested in cooperating with CING on innovation

Israeli Ambassador to Cyprus Sammy Revel visited Thursday the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics (CING) and said there was great interest for cooperation from similar organizations in Israel, in the field of innovation.

According to a CING announcement, the Israeli diplomat was briefed on the Institute’s work in research, education and services by CING Chief Executive Medical Director Leonidas Phylactou.

Our services in Cyprus are unique, Phylactou said, and pointed towards the Institute’s research activity and its educational programmes. Cooperating with similar Israeli institutions would benefit patients, he added.

The Institute says that the Israeli Ambassador recognized the high standard of CING activities and noted that both countries have many interests in common. He said finally he would facilitate cooperation with similar institutes in Israel, mainly in the fields of innovation, research and education, the announcement concludes.
