Important archaeological findings discovered at Hala Sultan Tekke excavation site

Important archaeological findings have been discovered during the excavations at the Late Cypriot harbour city of Hala Sultan Tekke, which were carried out by a Swedish team between May and June 2017. Archeologists discovered various stone structures, storage units and a workshop. Ceramic fragments bearing Cypro-Minoan signs and Mycenaean pottery dating from the 13th century BC were among the findings.
