House Speaker holds meeting with Prime Minister of Armenia

President of the House of Representatives Demetris Syllouris held a meeting on Tuesday in Armenia with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in the framework of the official visit he is paying Yerevan this week.

The meeting was the first one that the new Armenian Prime Minister has held with a foreign official since assuming office.

Syllouris briefed Pashinyan on the initiative to convene a trilateral parliamentarian meeting between Cyprus, Greece and Armenia. The meeting reaffirmed on the highest level the readiness of Armenia to promote the trilateral meeting on the executive level as well.

It also reaffirmed the deep and excellent relations between the two countries.

The members of the parliamentarian delegation who accompany Syllouris at his visit in Armenia were present at the meeting with the Armenian Prime Minister as well as at the meeting with Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanian.
