House President stresses the need for common approaches in Cyprus and Greece over events in Evros

President of the House of Representative Demetris Syllouris stressed the need for common approaches between Cyprus and Greece but also between the different political parties, over events taking place at Greek border in Evros.

Speaking during a meeting he had today in Nicosia with the General Secretary of the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) Dimitris Koutsoumpas, Syllouris expressed the view that they have common concerns over the issue.

He also said that after the recent events in Evros, Greece and Cyprus and the political parties in the two countries should find a common approach, because as he said, “the issues are very critical and there’s urgent need for consensus on how we deal with them”.
