Health Ministry launches procedure for unvaccinated people to be eligible for free rapid tests

People who remain unvaccinated for medical reasons will be able to get a certificate, allowing them to undergo free rapid antigen tests, the Ministry of Health announced on Friday, while explaining the procedure.

New measures adopted on Friday by the Cabinet provide that those eligible for free rapid tests are minors up to 17 years old, persons 18 years of age and older who can not get the jab by providing a medical certificate, pregnant women who provide a medical certificate saying they can not be vaccinated for medical reasons, those vaccinated with the first jab for a period of three weeks after the first dose, those who concluded their vaccination but wish to get tested in order to monitor their health or other reasons, and citizens holding a COVID-19 recovery certificate within the last 180 days
