The Scientific Advisory Committee is meeting on Monday under Health Minister Michalis Hadzipantelas as the number of COVID-19 cases in Cyprus has soared in recent days.
Earlier Monday, the Minister will meet with President of the Republic Nicos Anastasiades to brief him on the island’s epidemiological outlook and the experts’ suggestions. The two meetings will be held ahead of Wednesday’s cabinet meeting.
