Greek FM to attend Cyprus-Greece-Israel Trilateral Meeting on Friday in Nicosia

Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias will participate in the Trilateral Meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Cyprus, Greece and Israel, which will take place in Nicosia on Friday, March 31.

According to a Greek Foreign Ministry announcement, Nikos Dendias along with Cypriot Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos and the Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen, will initially be received by the President of the Republic of Cyprus Nikos Christodoulides.

Subsequently, the Greek Foreign Minister and his counterparts will participate in the Trilateral Meeting.

After the meeting, the three Foreign Ministers will make joint statements to the press at 12:25 pm.

Nikos Dendias will also have a bilateral meeting with the Israeli Foreign Minister and latter on a private working lunch with the Cypriot Foreign Minister.

Finally, Nikos Dendias will be received by the Archbishop Georgios of New Justiniana and All Cyprus.

According to the Greek Foreign Ministry, the Trilateral Meeting “will focus on further strengthening the close trilateral cooperation in various areas, such as energy, disaster response and environmental protection.”

In addition, discussions are expected to cover international and regional developments, including the situation in the Eastern Mediterranean and the Middle East, as well as the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
