Greek Alternate Foreign Minister, Miltiadis Varvitsiotis, sent on Thursday from Nicosia the message that Greece will not accept any provocative action that is against its sovereign rights.
In statements to the media and asked about the escalating Turkish provocations against Cyprus and Greece, Varvitsiotis said that Greece has proceeded with “a courageous armament programme after a decade of no such programme for the country to send clearly the message that it is a country which supports stability, security in the region and will not in any case accept any provocative action that is against its sovereign rights. Certainly this is the case for the Republic of Cyrus as well, with which we are in full solidarity.
