The sustainability of food supply and food security in times of crisis is expected to be discussed, among others, during the EU Agriculture and Fisheries Council, which will be attended by the Cypriot Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment, Costas Kadis.
According to an official press release, the Minister went to Brussels on Sunday to participate in the Council, to be held on 12-13 December 2021. The Council is expected to reach conclusions on the adoption of an emergency plan to ensure the sustainability of food supply and food security in times of crisis.
