FM to hold talks and sign memoranda during official visit to Oman

Foreign Minister Nikos Christodoulides, travels on Tuesday from Brussels to Muscat, Oman, where he will pay an official visit on February 6 and 7 at the invitation of Omans Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs, Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah.

A press release issued by the Foreign Ministry, said that during his visit Christodoulides will have a tete – a – tete meeting and expanded talks with his Omani counterpart, during which they will thoroughly review the excellent bilateral relations of the two countries and will look into concrete ways of further enhancing them.

Moreover, they will discuss regional and international issues of mutual interest, while they are expected to sign memoranda between the government of the two countries.

Christodoulides will also be received by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Sultanate of Oman Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmood al Said, and will have separate meetings with the Minister of the Royal Office Sultan bin Mohammed al-Nu’amani, the Minister Responsible For Defence Affairs Sayyid Badr bin Saud al Busaidi, and the Minister of Higher Education Rawiyah bint Saud al Busaidiyah.

The Foreign Minister will also hold meetings with Cypriots who live and work in Oman.
