In Cyprus 35.6% of the population has received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, while 11.2% has completed vaccination, the Ministry of Health has said, adding that in the first hour of the vaccination portal`s operation on Saturday 9,771 appointments were arranged.
In particular, according to the Ministry of Health a total of 12,595 appointments are available on Saturday for the age group 33 – 34. During the first hour of the vaccination portal`s operation 9,771 appointments were arranged, it added.
In total, until Friday a total 346,171 vaccinations had taken place or 43.3 doses per 100 people; 35.6% or 263,263 people have received the first dose of their vaccine while 82,908 people have completed their vaccination, the Ministry said.
