FinMin accepted applications for 6-year bonds of Euros 4 mn from local investors

The Finance Ministrys Public Debt Management Office has announced that it has accepted applications of a total value of Euros 4,024,500 from local investors for six year bonds maturing in 2023 and one application for special bonds maturing in 2024 of Euros 300,000.

In a press release, the Public Debt Management Office announces that on April 20, submission of applications for the purchase of six � year bonds of the Republic of Cyprus for natural persons of the 5th series (May 2017) ended.

In total, the press release adds, 54 applications were submitted for the amount of Euros 4,024,500.

All applications submitted were from local investors and the value of applications ranged from Euros 4,500 to Euros 630,000. All applications were accepted, the press release continues.

The Public Debt Management Office also announces that it has received one application for the amount of Euros 300,000 for special bonds which it has accepted.

The issuance of six year bonds for natural persons will continue for the 6th series 2017 maturing in 2023 with a cap of total issuance of up to Euros 5,000,000 which will be issued on June 1st 2017. Submission applications will be accepted from May 2nd to May 19th,.

Seven year special bonds for natural persons will also continue with an issuance cap of Euros 3,000,000, which will be issued on June 1st.

Submission of applications will be accepted from May 2nd to May 19th.
